Setting & Events
Jan. 27th, 2014 07:55 pmAlthough the dressing room is centered around Maccadam's Old Oil House, that doesn't mean that all the action has to take place inside. The distortion of space-time doesn't stop right at the door but instead affects the roadways and air space around it as well.
As with all flouting of the laws of physics, nothing is a guarantee. On one hand, there is also a small chance that someone walking into the House will walk back out to a continuity different from their own. Meaning that players are welcome to throw their characters out into a strange continuity and make the settings for interaction nearly infinite. On the other hand, there is a chance that someone could stumble into the House unintentionally by passing through another door, such as a storage closet on the Lost Light or a hanger door on Earth. Thus opening up ways for characters who might not be on Cybertron (or are on a not-so-alive Cybertron) to be part of the fun. Since this is a dressing room, there are no strict rules on how characters end up where they are or where they go when they leave. Push the boundaries, be creative, have fun with it.
The only constant is where Maccadam's is located in space and time. Through the windows and just outside the walls of the bar, Cybertron flourishes all around, in the pinnacle of its Golden Age. An eternal, picturesque scene of all that has been lost.
